Pakistanis living in Britain are seen to be unbridled. The courage of British Pakistanis has been increasing after violent demonstrations at the Indian High Commission in London in protest against the removal of effective Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Now they are planning a similar violent event again on the occasion of Diwali.

Indian community is getting worried that The British Indian community has become alarmed at the nefarious intentions of the Pakistanis and has made London Mayor Sadiq Khan aware of his concern. Naveen Shah, the representative of Brent and Horow and Leader of the Indian-origin Labor Party in the London Assembly, has written to the Mayor to make Mayor Sadiq Khan aware of his concerns. In a counter letter written to Naveen Shah, the Mayor has assured that as Mayor, he will fulfill his responsibility to maintain the security system.

However, he has also said that during such protests the security system is handled by the home secretary and not the mayor. In his reply letter, he also mentions home secretary Preeti Patel and has asked to send a copy to his office as well. Sadiq also said that such a march on the solemn occasion of Diwali will increase tensions between people of Indian and Pakistan origin and spoil the atmosphere in London. He wrote, 'Right to resistance is an important and valuable part of democracy, but it should be peaceful and under the law.'
