Pakistan PM Imran Khan Blames India for Attack on Karachi Stock Exchange

After the terror attack on the stock exchange in Karachi on Monday, the Pakistani Prime Minister raised the matter in Parliament and blamed India for this attack. A few days ago, Imran, who described Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden as a martyr in Parliament, said that India wants to avenge what happened in Mumbai. We have no doubt that India has done this.

Imran Khan described a police sub-inspector and three security guards killed during the Karachi terror attack as Pakistan's hero. Pak PM Imran accused India and said that India had planned to destabilize us but the soldiers made sacrifices and saved us from this attack. On Monday, the Majeed Brigade belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack. Four armed terrorists attacked the stock exchange. During this period, 11 people including four attackers were killed.

India termed Pakistan Foreign Minister's statement as rubbish:

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also made the same claim as Imran, which India has termed as rubbish. Indian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Anurag Shrivastava called it nonsense saying that unlike Pakistan, India has no hesitation in condemning such attacks anywhere in the world.

BLA said – Pakistan-China on target

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist organization that claimed responsibility for the attack in Karachi, said that our aim was to target Pakistan's economy and China. Chinese companies have large investments in Pakistani stock exchanges. This is the second major attack by BLA in Karachi. Its first organization targeted the Chinese consulate in November 2018. According to the security forces, the Majeed Brigade of BLA was formed in 2011. The organization got its name after Majeed, a guard of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who unsuccessfully tried to kill Benazir.
