Pakistan Gives Birth to Terror Factory, Says Foreign Minister

Describing Pakistan as an Industry of terrorism, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar put India's side on the decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Showing the mirror to Pakistan, which cited human rights in Kashmir, the foreign minister said that Pakistan itself is a country of refuge for terrorists. The Foreign Minister also said that talks can be held with Pakistan, but not with Terristan. Regarding China, Jaishankar said that I have resolved all the fears of China during my visit.

'Pakistan gives birth to terror factory'

The foreign minister responded sternly to Pakistan's allegations. He said, 'Pakistan, I think, is a country which gave birth to a factory of terror to increase the Kashmir problem.' He said that India does not have a problem with Pakistan, but it has a problem talking to Terroristan. Jaishankar was addressing those present at the event organized by the cultural organization 'Asia Society' in New York on Tuesday.

Pak's response told anger and frustration

He said that after India's decision to abolish special status from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan now feels that if this policy is successful, its investment of 70 years will be in loss. He said, 'Today their response is coming in many forms in anger, frustration because you have built a whole terrorism industry for a long time.'

Foreign minister targeted Pakistan's terror model

Pakistan has said a lot on this and on what they think Pakistan will do, they said that this is not a Kashmir issue. The foreign minister said, "This is a bigger issue than Kashmir." Pakistan has to accept that the model it has created for itself is not going to work for long. I think in today's time you cannot make such policies using terrorism as a legitimate means of governance. '

China and Pakistan gave strict response to Kashmir

The foreign minister said, "When India decided to remove most of the provisions of Article 370 and divide Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, it got a response from Pakistan and China. After the removal of the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August, Pakistan curtailed diplomatic relations with India and expelled the Indian High Commissioner. China called it a matter of grave concern over the situation in Kashmir and said, "The parties concerned must exercise restraint and act cautiously, especially avoiding actions that unilaterally change the status quo and increase tensions."

Foreign Minister said, cannot talk to Terristan

Jaishankar stressed that India has no problem negotiating with Pakistan. He said, "We have a problem in talking to Terristan and they will just have to remain Pakistan, not the other." Jaishankar said that the removal of most of the provisions of Article 370 had no effect on India's external borders. The External Affairs Minister said, "We have improved it by staying within our existing limits. There were apparently reactions from Pakistan and China. The reactions of the two were different. I think Pakistan is a country which actually created the entire terrorism industry to deal with the Kashmir issue. In my opinion this is really a bigger issue than Kashmir and I think they have made it for India. '
