The earthquake tremor has been felt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring Center (NSMC) in Islamabad, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 has occurred on Monday morning. Due to this roads were blocked in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The earthquake was also felt in Peshawar, Malakand, Mardan, Charsadda, Attock and Hazara divisions. At present, information is being collected by the administration about loss of life and property.
Earlier on Sunday, there was an earthquake in Bikaner, Rajasthan at 10.30 am on Sunday, the intensity of which was measured 4.5 on the Richter scale. Its center was located 10 kilometers below the ground.
As soon as people felt the earthquake, people came out of their homes. Officials said the tremor was felt in the villages of Bikaner for 34 seconds.
According to government sources, the earthquake occurred at 10.36 am, its center was 10 km below the ground. No damage has been reported from the earthquake yet. The administration has appealed to the people to ignore the rumors and stay in a safe place. Let me tell you that in the Jhunjhunun district of Rajasthan, only mild tremors were felt last month. The intensity of this earthquake was measured 3.8 on the Richter scale.
