Pakistan Carries out Missile Test amid Corona War

The Pakistani Navy on Saturday successfully test-fired a series of anti-ship missiles in the North Arabian Sea, a spokesperson gave this information. Navy spokesman Rear Admiral Arsheed Javed said the missiles were fired from surface ships, stationary and rotary-wing aircraft.

He said in a statement that Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was present at the time of testing the missiles. According to the statement, "the missiles targeting the ship were fired from warships and aircraft at sea level."

The officials said the successful demonstration of the missile test is a testimony to the operational capability and military preparedness of Pakistan's navy. Speaking on the occasion, Admiral Abbasi said, "The Pakistani Navy is fully capable of providing a befitting response to the enemy attack."
