Don newspaper said that Superintendent of Police Sadar Malik Naeem told that Bilal was with his cousin on Sunday night when he received a phone call to go to G-9 from Barakahu area of ​​Islamabad. There a man took him to the jungle. After this Bilal and his cousin were attacked with daggers.

Bilal died in the attack, while his cousin was seriously injured. Blogger Bilal had 16 thousand followers on Twitter. There were 48 thousand subscribers on YouTube and 22 thousand followers on Facebook. According to Bilal's father Abdullah, his son had a mark on his body with sharp weapons.

Abdullah has demanded strict action against those who killed his son and injured a member of the family. According to reports, Bilal Khan was also an independent journalist. He was murdered because he criticized newly appointed Intelligence Chief Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed a few hours ago.
