The CM of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has asked to take strict action against the accused police personnel in the case of Kanpur property dealer Manish Gupta's death due to the alleged beating of police in Gorakhpur. At the same time, the wife of Manish Gupta, Meenakshi has been ordered to give a government job. Meenakshi will be given the job of OSD by the UP government in KDA (Kanpur Development Authority). Apart from this, CM Yogi has also asked the district administration to propose to increase the relief amount by 10 lakhs.

Strict action against the accused policemen

On Thursday, Meenakshi, wife of Manish Gupta who was a Kanpur-based property dealer, met UP CM Yogi Adityanath. During this, CM Yogi Adityanath assured the victim's family to take strict action against the accused policemen. After meeting with the CM, Meenakshi Gupta said I was completely satisfied to meet the Cm Yogi Adityanath. CM joined us as a family caregiver. They have accepted all our needs. Compensation, job, and appeal to transfer the Kanpur case have been agreed upon.

Earlier, former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also reached to meet the family of Manish Gupta. Akhilesh Yadav said that the Manish Gupta case should be investigated by the High Court judge. The guilty officers should be punished severely. Akhilesh said that he has an educated wife. What will happen to the son, what will happen to the elderly father? The government should help the family by giving them two crores. Samajwadi Party is helping with Rs. 20 lakhs.

In fact, 36-year-old real estate businessman Manish Gupta, a resident of Kanpur, was staying with his two friends Pradeep and Hari Chauhan in a hotel in the Ramgarh Taal police station area on Monday night. Late at night, the police arrived at the hotel for a check-up. During this, it was discovered that three people were living in a room on the basis of the identity of Chandan Saini, who lives in Mahadeva Bazar in Sikriganj, Gorakhpur. Manish, who was injured after being beaten by police during cross-examination, died at Gorakhpur Medical College under suspicious circumstances.

Policeman accused in the case suspended

His friends who were staying in a room with Manish said they had come at the invitation of Chandan Saini, a businessman from Gorakhpur. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) on Tuesday suspended six police officers, including Ramgarh Taal station in-charge JN Singh and Palmandi police station in-charge Akshay Mishra and transferred the matter to the Superintendent of Police (city).
