OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 6TMcLaren edition in collaboration with McLaren.
This new variants of the OnePlus 6T, which was launched in India on October 30, comes with 10GB RAM and with a tagline that says Salute to Speed. In addition to extra RAM, the phone also comes with a new 30W charger that, according to OnePlus, can fill up 50 percent of 3700 mAh battery in just 20 minutes.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will go on sale in the US and Western Europe from December 13. It is also expected to go on sale in India soon after that. In Europe, the price of the phone is going to be 649 pounds. The India price is something OnePlus will reveal at the phone's launch event on December 12 in Mumbai, but it is expected that the phone will somewhere between Rs 45,000 to Rs 50,000.
OnePlus has made some subtle design changes in the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. The phone comes with a glossy glass finish which reflects orange at its edges. Orange is the signature color of McLaren. The bundled charger also comes with braided orange cable and the phone has Orange on Black as its accent color in the new OxygenOS theme that OnePlus has put in this special variant of the OnePlus 6T.
Inside the phone, there is the Snapdragon 845 processor, 10GB RAM, 256GB storage and other bells and whistles that you can expect in a high-end phone nowadays. The McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T uses the same front and back cameras that we saw in the regular edition earlier. This means a pair of 16 megapixel and 20-megapixel cameras on the back, and a 16-megapixel camera on the front.
The display, complete with its water drop notch and in-display fingerprint sensor is also the same.
