CM has ordered the cancellation of the 12th board examination conducted by the CHSE (Council of Higher Secondary Education) this year keeping in mind the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, in this regard, the CM says that the life of the students is more important than the examination. A day after the central government announced the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The state government had organized a presiding meeting to take an important decision on Odisha 12th Board Exam 2021. Let us tell that the Odisha plus two examinations to be conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education for Arts, Science and Commerce streams were scheduled to start from May 18. The Board has set a tentative date to announce the result of all exams on June 30. Earlier, Odisha Congress President Niranjan Patnaik had demanded that the state government should cancel the class 12 board exams due to the current second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic. Along with this, students and parents were also demanding the cancellation of the examinations.
Around 3.5 lakh students were waiting for the official announcement on class 12 board exams. Meanwhile, the governments of Karnataka, Maharashtra. Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh have already canceled the Class 12 state board exams, while several states are likely to take decision on the issue soon.
