Researchers at Aberystwyth University and the University of North Carolina have claimed that men are funnier than women. These researchers conducted 28 types of analysis on five thousand people. Shockingly, 63 percent of men were found to be more joking than women.

Analysis done like this: Scientists have made it clear that the technique adopted in the conclusion of this research did not inform the jury about the gender of the respondent. He was shown a few pictures to find out the mockery of the people. They were asked to write funny captions about the picture. The judges were not aware of which caption is written by Kis.

Writer Gil Greengross wrote in 'Psychology Today' that men showed, on average, more ability to produce humor than women. Citing some English comedians, Gringos made it clear that it is not that every man is funnier than every woman. But this scientific study generally found men to be funny.

She said that the reason for this may be conservative social pressure which works to prevent women from openly expressing their witty side. On the other hand it is also true that men want to make women laugh with their jokes or like to make them laugh.

Women objected to these findings: Some female comedians have objected to the study's findings. A woman named Marina said the study might discourage women from going into comedy. Marina described it as unnecessary.

Marina's sister Maddy described the study as a joke. Maddy said why scientists are trying to prove that women are not funny. Maddy and Marina are both famous for their comedy pair of sisters. Scottish comedian Eleanor also questioned the findings.
