On behalf of the Union Home Ministry, Parliament has said that there has been no infiltration on the border of India and China during the last 6 months. Whereas there have been 47 infiltration attempts from the border with Pakistan. This information is given in a written reply to a question asked in the Rajya Sabha by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Information was sought from the Ministry of Home Affairs on the Indo-China and India-Pakistan border intrusions.
In response to a question from the Ministry of Home Affairs, it said that there was no intrusion on the India and Pakistan border in February. There were 4 infiltration attempts in March. This increased to 24 in April. Followed by 8 infiltration in May. Attempts were made and no cases were reported in June. But 11 cases of infiltration attempts were reported again in July. It has also been said that during this period there has been no intrusion on the border between India and China.
Strict action is being taken against intruders
In response to the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has also been said that to prevent infiltration at the border, the government has taken several steps. Under which border deployment has been increased. Intelligence has been strengthened. Barbed wire has been installed in many places. Strict action is being taken against intruders.
