The price of Datsun GO and GO + is going to increase in April to 2018. Nissan India has announced a 4 percent increase in prices of these two models. These prices will come into effect from next month i.e. 1st April. Nissan India has decided to increase prices after the announcement of prices hikes made by other car manufacturers like Mahindra, Tata Motors and Renault. Like other car manufacturers, Nissan has also told the input cost because of the price hike.

The current price of Datsun GO is between Rs 3.29 lakh and Rs 4.89 lakh. At the same time, prices of GO + up from Rs 3.83 lakh to Rs 5.69 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi prices. Earlier on Thursday, Mahindra and Mahindra had announced an increase in prices from Rs 5,000 to Rs 73,000 in its passenger and commercial vehicle from April.

Earlier this week, French car maker Reno had announced a 3 percent increase in its Kwid range prices in April. Last week, Tata Motors announced the increase in prices by up to Rs 25,000 due to input cost and extraordinary economic condition from April in its passenger vehicle. Apart from this, Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover have announced the price hikes in select models since April.

Nissan launched Facelifted Datsun GO and GO + with many updates in both the models last year. The Top End Variants of 2018 Datsun GO and GO + were introduced with Touchscreen Infotainment Systems and some Segment First FEATUREs, with Data Running Lights and Vehicle Dynamic Control. Both cars get 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine. This engine generates pickup torque of 67 bhp and 104 Nm.
