Vigilance investigation in the case of Assistant Drug Controller Nishant Sareen trapped in corruption charges, as the fire is growing, many shocking facts are coming out. Investigation till now has revealed that Sareen, who was posted in Baddi, was running a corruption racket along with Dr. Komal Khanna, a female officer of Panchkula based Genia Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
According to sources, until now, Vigilance has found many such evidence which shows the corruption of Sareen's corruption. Apart from hotel and flight tickets, Sareen also received many more expensive gifts from pharma companies. The investigation has revealed that Sareen was using an expensive mobile phone given by a pharma company in Kalaamb. Apart from this, he also got an expensive mobile phone from Dr. Khanna's company.
Not only this, Vigilance has also found a bike registered in the name of Genia Pharmaceuticals at the residence of Sareen's wife Kalpana Sareen in Chandigarh. Besides Sareen, Vigilance is believed to be considering including Komal Khanna in the investigation. It is noteworthy that Sareen has been suspended by the Health Department, away from Vigilance.
High court will hear anticipatory bail on 10
Suspended ADC Nishant Sareen filed an anticipatory bail petition in Solan's local court to avoid arrest. After Vigilance's plea, the court dismissed Sarin's plea following which he approached the Himachal High Court. The High Court will hear the anticipatory bail plea on 10 September.
