Nirmohi Akhara Will Meet PM Modi to Know his Role in the Trust

In Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi case, the Supreme Court has ordered the government to form a new trust and hand over all the land for the construction of the temple. After the court decision, the discussion about the formation of a new trust is intensified. In the Supreme Court's decision, the government has been given clear instructions that it will include the Nirmohi Akhara in the new trust to be formed. In such a situation, Nirmohi Akhara has decided to meet the Prime Minister to know his role in the Trust.

Nirmohi Akhara held a meeting in Ayodhya on Sunday and the decision of the Supreme Court was considered in this meeting. All 13 Panches including Sarpanch Ramchandra Acharya attended the meeting. Karthik Chopra, spokesperson of the Nirmohi Akhara, says that it was decided in the meeting that he would meet the Prime Minister to know his clear role in the new trust. Panch wants to know what role the government is taking in the trust after the Supreme Court order. For this, this week Nirmohi Akhara will ask for an appointment with the Prime Minister.

Chopra says that the Nirmohi Akhara is happy with the decision because the way to build the temple he fought for 150 years has cleared the way. But still the saints of the arena are disappointed on what basis the Supreme Court has rejected their right to Sevapooja even though the court in the judgment is assuming the historical presence of Nirmohi Akhara at that place.

Akhara Sarpanch Raja Ramchandra Acharya says that the decision is being studied after meeting the Prime Minister and only after knowing the role in the trust, the Nirmohi Akhara will decide the strategy for the matter. The Nirmohi Akhara has always had claims of service and worship management in the Ram Janmabhoomi. He had filed the same claim and right in the Supreme Court.

However, the Supreme Court has dismissed Nirmohi Akhara's case as time barred. Despite the case being dismissed, the Supreme Court, in view of the historical presence of Nirmohi Akhara on the Ram Janmabhoomi, has instructed the government to include the Nirmohi Akhara in the newly formed trust, using the special powers obtained in the constitution.
