Another idea to save Nirbhaya's culprits from hanging is rejected by the Supreme Court. It should be noted that in the Nirbhaya case, the four convicts have been ordered to be hanged at 5.30 am on March 20. After which the lawyer of the convict is looking for new ways to save him. Pawan's lawyer had filed a curative petition in the court claiming that the convict was a minor at the time of the crime, but the Supreme Court has rejected him.

Earlier on Wednesday, a Delhi court took strict action and asked the lawyer why he always reaches the court at the last minute. Nirbhaya's lawyer AP Singh has been constantly looking for new ways to delay the execution of the culprits. He made another effort to delay the execution of the four convicts on Friday and once again approached the trial court citing pending their legal remedies.

Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana sought the report from Tihar Jail authorities and the state government till 12 noon on Thursday night and said, "Why do you approach the court at the last minute?"

Public Prosecutor Irfan Ahmed opposed this. "There is no legal remedy pending. Only 36 hours are left for his execution," he said.

Nirbhaya convicts will be hanged at 5:30 in the morning of 20 March. Earlier the court has banned his death warrant once. Now it will be seen whether this time also they get caught in the legal bets and dodge the death warrant or they will be hanged on time.
