Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik made a big allegation that corruption is high in Goa. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should pay attention to this. In an interview given to a TV news channel, Satyapal Malik, who was the Governor of Goa, has made these allegations.
According to the sources, Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik alleged that the BJP government in Goa could not deal with Corona properly and I stand by my statement. He said that whatever the Goa government did, there was corruption in it. I was removed from there after allegations of corruption were levelled against the Goa government. I have spent time with Chaudhary Charan Singh and I cannot tolerate corruption at all.
He further said that the door-to-door ration distribution scheme of the Goa government was not practical. However, this was done at the behest of a company. That company had given money to the government to do this. I ordered an inquiry into the matter and informed the Prime Minister. He said that he would never accept the fact that it was his fault.
Malik further said in the interview that there is a place near the airport, where mining trucks are used. I told the government to stop it in view of Corona, but the government did not agree. Later this area became the hot spot of Corona.
Meghalaya Governor Malik further said that today people in the country are afraid to speak the truth. I speak only what I think. He said that the government wanted to demolish the present Raj Bhavan and build another building, although there was no need for it. He also said that this resolution was passed by the government when it was facing financial pressure.
