Joe Biden Defends his Decision of Withdrawal of Troops from Afghanistan

US President Joe Biden has again clarified on Sunday that the decision to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan was correct

US President Joe Biden has again clarified on Sunday that the decision to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan was correct. There was no way in which so many people could be evacuated from Kabul without suffering and loss. He said that the heart-wrenching pictures you guys are seeing had to happen. My heart hurts seeing these people. But in the end, the question is, if we don't leave Afghanistan now, when will we leave? My decision to withdraw from the army will be recorded as a logical, rational, and correct decision.

Unite the people of Afghanistan

Joe Biden was asked if he trusts the Taliban, to which he replied that I do not trust anyone. The Taliban have to take an in-principle decision. Will the Taliban be able to unite the people of Afghanistan and work for their welfare, which no one has been able to do in 100 years? If he is not able to do this, then he will have to take help in financial cooperation, business, and many other things.

Biden said – 11 thousand people were evacuated in 36 hours

Describing the campaign so far, Biden said that the US has evacuated 11,000 people in 36 hours. Although he has not given its details. This also includes all flights of the US Air Force and charter and non-US aircraft.

He also said that thousands of people are still waiting for the airlift. This process is slowing down due to security reasons and American bureaucracy. Biden also said that the US military has increased the safe zone at Kabul Airport. The Taliban has helped them in expanding the scope of the safe zone.

25,100 people brought from Afghanistan since August 14

According to the White House, 8 military flights of the US military have evacuated 1,700 passengers from Hamid Karzai International Airport. Apart from this, 39 associate aircraft have taken off with 3,400 people. Since August 14, the US has evacuated 25,100 from Afghanistan on military and allied aircraft. We have relocated around 30,000 people since the end of July.

Terrorists can take advantage of the situation

Biden said that we know that terrorists will try to take advantage of this situation and target innocent people or the US military. We are monitoring this situation so that any danger can be detected and prevented. We are a part of ISIS and ISIS-K supporting Afghanistan.

At the same time, he expressed concern that the deadline for the evacuation campaign is ending on August 31. We are in discussion with the military to extend this deadline. It is our hope that there is no chance of extending the deadline.
