Gaza: A high-rise building on the Gaza Strip was destroyed in an Israeli air strike. This building housed the offices of media organizations such as The Associated Press and Al-Jazeera. According to the AP, this air strike hardly came after a warning from the Israeli army in which they asked to vacate the building.

10 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air strike

Earlier, at least 10 Palestinians, most of whom were children, were killed in an Israeli air strike in Gaza City early Saturday. This is the highest number of people killed in an Israeli attack since Gaza's militant Hamas rulers began fighting.

The conflict, which began last month in Jerusalem, has spread on a large scale. Israeli cities with mixed populations of Arabs and Jews are witnessing daily violence. During the ongoing fighting between Israel and Hamas, the Palestinians also demonstrated extensively in the West Bank and hundreds of protesters clashed with Israeli forces in several cities. During this time, at least 11 people were killed in the action of the Israeli army.

The violence is taking place at a time when Palestinians are celebrating 'Nakba Day' on Saturday when they remember the thousands of Palestinians killed by Israel in the 1948 war. This has increased the possibility of further intensification of the conflict.

'This is a very personal moment'
