Biggest Nuclear Deal between Russia and China, Develop 4 Units of 2 Projects

How closely the relations between Russia and China are increasing can be gauged from the fact that the biggest nuclear deal between the two countries is going to start. Due to India's increasing proximity to the US and the European Union, China is now rapidly improving its relations with Russia.

On Wednesday, China and Russia will begin joint cooperation on 4 units of the two nuclear power projects. Russia and China companies will work together on this. It is being launched in 2 cities of China.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Legion said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will launch the power project virtually (online). The agreement between the two countries was reached in 2018 itself. One of them is the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in Lianyungang city of Jiangsu state. The second Shudapu nuclear power plant is in Shicheng city of Liaoning state.

China, Russia will develop these 4 units

  • Units 7 and 8 of Tianwen Nuclear Power Plant
  • Units 3 and 4 of Shudapu Atomic Power Plant

The proximity between the two countries will increase

Chinese spokesman Zhao Legion said that this is the largest nuclear power project agreement between China and Russia so far. Under the project, the equipment required for 4 units of the power plant will also be built. This will increase the proximity of Russia and China. Legion has stated that nuclear plants emit less carbon than other resources. Both countries are strengthening their relations with each other day by day. It is also a response to the US and the European Union in a way.
