New York Governor Andrew Cuomo: Sports Should be Resumed Without Audience

The Governor of York has increased the possibility of returning to some major sporting events without an audience by talking to the owners of several sports teams. Governor Andrew Cuomo said he had spoken to the owners of several teams but did not name them.

New York teams, however, include the Yankees baseball team as well as football, hockey and basketball clubs. He said that some of these teams may be ready to play in empty stadiums.

Cuomo said this while giving daily information about his province regarding Corona virus, while New York is the US province most affected by this epidemic. "We want the return of the Games, this is an activity that people can watch on TV," he told reporters.
