Amazon Prime Video has released a new song from Vidya Balan starrer biographical film 'Shakuntala Devi' today. The name of this song is 'Rani Hindustani' and it has shown the incredible journey of Shakuntala Devi. Despite not having formal education, Shakuntala Devi had twice registered her name in the Guinness Book of World Records for multiplying the 13-digit number in just 28 seconds.

Singer Sunidhi Chauhan has lent her voice to this song and composer duo Sachin-Jigar composed it. Also the lyrics of the song have been written by famous lyricist Vayu.
Musical couple Sachin and Jigar said, "Shakuntala Devi's life is very inspiring. Apart from her mathematical skills, there is a lot in her life that people do not know. She was a confident and independent woman and in this song we have tried our best to show that essence. Vayu has threaded the words beautifully and as usual, Sunidhi brings the song to life with her incredible voice. Directed by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), Shakuntala Devi stars Vidya Balan as well as Jishu Sengupta, Sanya Malhotra and Amit Sadh in the lead roles. The story-line of this film is written by Anu Menon and Nayanika Mahtani. While the dialogues are written by Ishita Moitra. The film will be released on July 31 on Amazon Prime Video.
It is known that on July 31, many films are being released on different digital platforms. Shakuntala Devi on Amazon Prime, then Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte starrer on Netflix, Raat Akeli Hai and Kunal Kemmu's Lootcase will be seen on Disney Plus Hotstar. On July 30, Amit Sadh and Vidyut Jammwal's film 'Yaara' will release on Zee5.
