The reconstruction of the main stadium for next year's Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in Japan is complete. This main stadium has been named 'New National Stadium'. According to the Japan Sports Council, the stadium will be one of the main venues for the upcoming Olympics. It's necessary procedures for handing over to the Organizing Committee and the Government of Tokyo were also completed on Saturday. The Tokyo Olympic Games will be held from July 24 to August 9 next year, while the Paralympic Games will be held from August 25 to September 6.

This national stadium was opened in 1958 and then it was closed in 2014. At the same time, after two years i.e. from the year 2016, this stadium has been remodeled which has been prepared for the Olympic Games. In 1958, the Asian Games took place in this national stadium, which witnessed the first big tournament event. At the same time, in the year 1964, this stadium hosted the Olympics for the first time. This national stadium of Japan has a seating capacity of 60000 people simultaneously. The new national stadium is designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kumar. As beautiful as it looks in the pictures, equally beautiful people have told it from close quarters. The opening and closing ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is to take place at this stadium, for which special lighting arrangements have been made.

Football matches from 22 July and athletics matches from 31 July will be held at this stadium. The stadium is to be officially inaugurated on 21 December 2019, with many big personalities expected to attend. 2000 cubic meters of cedar wood have been brought from the 47 provinces of Japan for the stadium, which is also over it. Temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius can remain here during the Olympic Games. The reconstruction of this national stadium, which has been re-built in 60 thousand spectators capacity and tremendous building and magnificent design, has cost $ 1.4 billion i.e. about one trillion rupees, which shows that Japan is going to make this event very special.
