Lakhs of students are waiting for the declaration of the NEET 2021 result. At the same time, the National Testing Agency (NTA) may soon release the result of NEET 2021 on its official website neet.nta.nic.in.

After which the students who have appeared in the Undergraduate (UG) Medical Entrance Exam will be able to check their results and All India Rank (AIR) through the official website.

To qualify NEET-UG, students from unreserved categories need to secure a minimum of 50th percentile in the exam. On the other hand, the NEET qualifying criterion for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (OBC) is 40th percentile.

The qualifying criteria are 45th percentile for students belonging to the general-PWD category and 40th percentile for reserved category PWD candidates.

NTA will obtain the NEET percentile on the basis of the highest marks obtained in the All India Common Merit List.

Eligibility for Admission in Medical UG Courses

To be eligible for admission to medical undergraduate courses, it is mandatory for the students to pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English subjects individually. Along with this, students will have to obtain at least 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology together.

NEET UG exam was held on 12th September 2021

Let us tell you that NEET UG 2021 was conducted by NTA on 12th September and the paper was of 'Easy to Moderate difficulty level. The question paper of NEET 2021 had 180 questions carrying a total of 720 marks and the paper was NCERT based.

Students will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be given in case of unanswered questions.
