Actress Neena Gupta has recently launched her autobiography. The title of this book of Neena is 'Sach Kahun Toh'. In this book, Neena talks about her life as an actor and the challenges she faced as an unmarried pregnant woman. Neena Gupta has told in her book that when she was about to become the mother of the child of former West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards without marriage, a close friend of her had advised her to marry a 'gay' man.
Neena Gupta has told in her book 'Sach Kahun Toh' that she fell in love with Vivian Richards and also became pregnant. Then Neena gave birth to a daughter, whose name is Masaba. At the same time, Vivian was not ready to leave his wife and family for her. In such a situation, she had to face a lot of difficulties then.
Neena Gupta has written about her friend's advice in the book that when she became pregnant, Sujoy Mitra, a special friend of hers, had brought her a marriage proposal. The person Sujoy had brought with him was a banker and had a house in Bandra.
However, it was later revealed that the person was 'gay' and was getting married due to the pressure of society and family pressure. The man had clearly told Neena that by this marriage his daughter Masaba would get her name. But he will not take any responsibility for her or his daughter.
In an interview, Neena said about this, "I made fun of my friend on this offer, because I did not feel right to marry just to avoid controversy. I knew that I would have to answer very difficult questions. Being a public figure meant that there would be a lot of talk about our lives, mine and my baby. But I told myself that as long as I could hide it, I would hide it under loose clothes."
Neena Gupta has also told in this book that when she was about to give birth to 'Masaba', daughter of Vivian Richards. Before that, actor-director Satish Kaushik proposed to her for marriage. Satish Kaushik had expressed his desire to marry Neena even though she was pregnant. Neena told that Satish had even said then that you do not worry about child, then after marriage, she will be able to say that it is Satish Kaushik's only child. However, Neena then refused Satish Kaushik.
