Nawazuddin Siddiqui Said about ‘Ghoomketu’ – ‘It Shows the Experience of My Acting and Life’

Mumbai: National Award-winning actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui once again worked with Anurag Kashyap in the new digital film 'Ghoomketu', but this time the equation is more than just actor and film producer. Although Nawaz's star in the comic drama and Anurag's banner co-produced it, this time the filmmaker also played a role as a corrupt cop.

Nawazuddin told IANS, "I have been working with Anurag for so long and we have been together in this journey. But on the set of a film, our equation is that of the director and the actor. In this film, for the first time he was my co-actor, I am used to it, when he says 'cut'! I will give a shot but now I have to remember that he is not a director but he is a co-actor."

The actor has been working with Anurag since 2007. Anurag's 'Black Friday', followed by 'Dev'. Many films have been released including 'Gangs of Wasseypur' franchise,'Raman Raghav 2.0′ and web series 'Sacred Games'.

'Ghoomketu' is directed by Pushpendra Nath Mishra and the film also stars Ragini Khanna, Raghubir Yadav, Ila Arun and Swanand Kirkire.

Nawazuddin shared, "Raghu Bhai is an actor. This was the first time we worked together, he is an amazing actor!"
