The Indian government is doing everything possible to rescue the students and citizens trapped in Ukraine. Government sources told news agency ANI on Tuesday that seven aircraft carrying stranded Indians from Ukraine will land in Delhi tomorrow i.e. Wednesday under Operation Ganga. A total of nine flights have already brought back stranded Indians from Ukraine. The first IndiGo Airline flight took off from the Hungarian capital Budapest on Tuesday evening and will land at Delhi airport at 7:20 am tomorrow i.e. Wednesday.

20 aircraft engaged in evacuating Indians

According to ANI news, the Indian government has deployed 20 aircraft to evacuate Indians from Ukraine. Air India, Air India Express, IndiGo and SpiceJet aircraft have been deployed for the evacuation.

More than 9,000 Indians evacuated from Ukraine

So far, more than 9000 Indian citizens have been evacuated from Ukraine. Many students have been shifted to a safe place so that they can be safely evacuated. Most of the Indians trapped in Ukraine are students. While a large number are now in safe areas.

Evacuation of Indians is govt’s top priority

In the CCS meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given top priority to the evacuation of Indians from Ukraine. Opposition parties are also continuously pressurizing the government to expel Indians from Ukraine.

India will bring back every citizen from Ukraine

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already said that despite the ground situation in Ukraine being very difficult and complex, it will bring back every citizen from the war-torn country. Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said, 'India will bring back every citizen from Ukraine. In such a situation Indians stranded there do not panic, contact the team of the Ministry of External Affairs.
