Manipur Violence: Manipur Police has arrested four persons, including the primary suspect in relation to the Manipur viral video parade depicting the kidnapping and gangrape of two women. Although the incident happened in May, the viral video has lately caused a great deal of outrage.

Recently, a disturbing video showing two Manipur women being paraded naked has gone viral, sparking outrage from the Indigenous Tribal Leaders' Forum as evidence of heinous act.

This distressing incident took place in Kangpokpi district amidst mob violence that started after the burning of a village.

Acording to sources a relative of the victims filed a zero FIR, leading to the case being registered at Nongpok Sekmai police station.

The government has been urged to take action and inform the court of the measures being taken to safeguard the safety of women in the area, according to Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud.

The Chief Justice warned that the Supreme Court would take up the case on July 28 if the government didn't take action.

ANI news agency reported citing sources that the Centre has asked Twitter and other social media platforms to pull down the video of the two Manipur women paraded naked as the matter is under investigation and actions has been already taken on removing Manipur original video parade.
