J&K: 3 Lashkar Terrorists Killed by Security Forces Trying to Infiltrate in Kupwara
Encounter in Kupwara: Once again the ongoing encounter between terrorists and security forces have ended in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists who were trying to infiltrate were surrounded by the security forces.
A search operation was launched on the basis of specific inputs received by the security forces, after which the terrorists opened fire.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police has issued a statement saying that terrorists trying to infiltrate in Juma Gund, Kupwara have been killed.
So far this year, 23 Pakistani terrorists have been killed in different encounters.

In this regard, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that all the three terrorists hiding in the area have been killed. All three were associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar.
At present, efforts are on to identify the terrorists. He further said that incriminating material including arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the slain terrorists.
