
In the wake of the success of Chandrayaan-3, the entire nation is celebrating and showering accolades on ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and its scientists.
Recently, ISRO's Chief, S. Somanath, was travelling on an IndiGo flight. As soon as a flight attendant and passengers learned of his presence on the flight, a spontaneous show of respect and appreciation began.
The flight attendant welcomed S. Somanath on board and expressed her delight at having ISRO's Chief on their flight.
She said, "We are proud to have you on this flight, sir. Thank you for making us feel proud." Passengers on the plane also joined in, applauding and welcoming him with enthusiasm.
A video capturing this touching moment of honour for S. Somanath has gone viral on social media. In the video, the IndiGo flight attendant can be seen informing passengers about the presence of ISRO's Chief on the flight and expressing gratitude for his contributions.
India's Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the southern part of the Moon on August 23.
Chandrayaan-3's Pragyan rover is currently conducting searches for minerals and other elements on the lunar surface.
