Gujarat Election 2022: Campaigning for the Gujarat Assembly elections has gained momentum in the state. Seeing the main contest between BJP and Congress, for the first time in this state, Aam Aadmi Party is also contesting on all the seats.

In such a situation this time, there is a three-wayed contest in Gujarat. The BJP is sure to benefit directly from the entry of the Aam Aadmi Party. PM Modi's home state Gujarat is under BJP rule for the last 27 years. Where votes are given in the name of PM Modi, BJP has a traditional vote bank there.

The vote bank of Congress will be affected by the entry of the Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat benefiting the ruling party of BJP. The influence of the Aam Aadmi Party is going to be more on the Muslim voters in Gujarat.

Aam Aadmi Party is not going to have any special effect on the Hindu voters of the BJP. In such a situation, if Aam Aadmi Party's magic works in the state, then it will harm the Congress itself.

Gujarat Survey: BJP will rule again

According to a recent survey regarding the Gujarat assembly elections, the BJP may again be in power in the 182-seat assembly. The BJP has been ruling in PM Modi's home state for the last 27 years.

According to the survey, BJP can win 135 to 143 seats. The Congress, which won 99 seats last time, may be reduced to 36-44 seats. At the same time, despite the hard work of Arvind Kejriwal, 'AAP' has been predicted to get 0-2 seats. Others may get success in 0-3 seats.

Kejriwal's party can get 17.4 per cent votes. Congress seems to be losing 9.1 per cent vote share due to AAP's strength. At the same time, the vote share of the BJP is estimated to be less than 2.3 per cent.

If seen from this perspective, Kejriwal's party can become a bigger tension for Congress.

Performance of AAP in 2017

In 2017, the Aam Aadmi Party entered Gujarat for the first time. Then the party fielded candidates on only 29 seats and the performance was very disappointing.

The party got 29517 votes in these 29 seats, which was much less than NOTA. On these seats, 75,880 people pressed the NOTA button.

Struggle of AAP after 2017 Elections

Despite the disappointing performance in 2017, Kejriwal's party continued to work hard in Gujarat. The party has strengthened its organization, and the big leaders of the party including Kejriwal, have tried to present a third option in front of the public with the help of the 'Delhi model' visiting here again and again.
