A well-known face of the politics of Rajasthan, the current Governor of West Bengal and now the NDA's candidate for the post of Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar. BJP's central leadership has tried to hit many targets with one arrow. With this, an attempt has been made to reach out to the Jat community and farmers.

The seasoned player of politics, who has been made the NDA's candidate for Vice Presidential Election 2022, has been a Union Minister as well as a senior advocate of the Supreme Court.

Dhankhar has played an important role in taking the Jat reservation movement to the fore.

Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nadda, other members of the Parliamentary Board including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were also present at the Parliamentary Board meeting.

It is worth noting that earlier the names of Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Najma Heptulla and the Governor of Kerala were also being discussed in the race for the Vice President.

Dhankhar has a deep connection with Rajasthan

Jagdeep Dhankhar, the BJP candidate for the post of Vice President of India, is originally from the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan.

He is a resident of Kithana village of Jhunjhunu. The initial education of Dhankhar, considered a big player in politics, starting from the Government Secondary School in Kithana village itself.

Soon Dhankhar's talent started coming in front of everyone. And based on merit, he was selected in Sainik School, Chittorgarh. After this, he chose advocacy as a profession.

Journey from Rajasthan Bar Council to Supreme Court

After obtaining a law degree, Jagdeep Dhankhar started his career as a lawyer in the Bar Council of Rajasthan.

Dhankhar raised many flags in the field of advocacy. Dhankhar also has the good fortune of becoming the President of the Rajasthan Bar Council at the youngest age.

Dhankhar then moved to the Supreme Court. He had also become a renowned lawyer of the Supreme Court.

Dhankhar played an important role in getting Jat's reservation

Jagdeep Dhankhar is counted among the tall leaders and experts in the law. He played an important role in getting Jat's reservation.

Apart from being knowledgeable about the law, he is also very well-versed in politics. He has worked as a Union Minister.

He has also been in many parties and has been a member of the Janata Dal from Jhunjhunu.

Dhankhar has also lived in the Congress party. However, he lost the election from Ajmer. After this Dhankhar joined BJP in 2003.

BJP made Dhankhar the governor of Bengal

Jagdeep Dhankhar, who has spent a long time in politics, was appointed by the BJP as the Governor of West Bengal. His appointment came at a time when the BJP was looking for land in Bengal and the tension with TMC was in full swing.

In such a situation, BJP made Dhankhar the governor of Bengal. It is said that due to the merits of Dhankhar, he was made the Lieutenant Governor of West Bengal.

Now Dhankhar is ready to play a new inning in politics. The BJP-led NDA has made him its candidate for the post of Vice President.
