Kalyan Singh, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and former Governor of Rajasthan, admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow after complaining of infection, is unstable and doctors are keeping a close watch, SGPGI said on Monday. According to the health bulletin issued at 6.30 pm, the condition of Kalyan Singh is unstable.

Kalyan Singh's oxygen therapy has been started after he complained of breathlessness on Saturday evening. He has been kept on 'Non-Invasive Ventilation' since Sunday evening due to further difficulty in breathing. According to the statement, senior doctors of the PCM, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, and Endocrinology departments are constantly monitoring the health of the former Chief Minister.
