Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Sunday that more than 50 percent of the eligible adult population in the country has been fully immunized. Responding to Mandivaya's tweet, Modi wrote, "India's vaccination campaign has crossed another important milestone. It is important to maintain this momentum to strengthen the fight against Covid-19.
The Prime Minister said, "Follow all the guidelines related to Covid-19 and maintain social distance." Mandaviya had tweeted on Sunday, "Congratulations India. It is a moment of great pride, as more than 50 percent of the eligible population has been fully immunized. Together we will deal with Covid-19. It is worth noting that the nationwide vaccination campaign against Covid-19 was started from January 16 this year.
