Chief Minister Kejriwal Away for Vipassana Meditation Course

Let us tell you that Chief Minister Kejriwal was supposed to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday, which is today. However, at present, he is away for a vipassana meditation course at a centre in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab for 10 days..

Consequently, he will not be able to present himself for questioning regarding the ED summons. It is worth noting that Chief Minister Kejriwal was previously summoned for questioning on November 2 but did not appear before the ED during that period either.

During that time, he was engaged in election campaigning in Madhya Pradesh.

Could Kejriwal Be Arrested?

Notably, Kejriwal can ignore the summons only three times before facing the possibility of a non-bailable arrest warrant. If he fails to appear after three summonses, he could potentially face arrest.

BJP Appears Afraid of Kejriwal: Saurabh Bharadwaj

Delhi government minister Saurabh Bharadwaj recently remarked that the number of cases against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislators and ministers, coupled with the current preparations for the potential arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, indicates that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is afraid of them.

According to Bharadwaj, if there is any fear of power within the BJP and the Prime Minister, it is Arvind Kejriwal. The BJP desires to remove Arvind Kejriwal from the Delhi political landscape by any means necessary.

They know that removing Kejriwal from power is possible not through electoral defeat but through manipulation and conspiracy.
