The results of the Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections were announced on Tuesday. The BJP secured an absolute majority in Haryana and also achieved a record victory in 29 seats in Jammu & Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Congress performed poorly in both states. Following this victory, NDA allies have also extended their congratulations to the BJP.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu has made a prediction regarding the upcoming Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections that is likely to please the BJP.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has stated that the upcoming Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections will yield results similar to those in Haryana.
He also mentioned that not only has normalcy been restored in Jammu and Kashmir, but the BJP has emerged as the single largest party there.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on its victory in Haryana. He said, "Congratulations and best wishes to the BJP for securing a third consecutive win in the Haryana Assembly elections. The people of Haryana have expressed their full confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's able leadership."
Additionally, JDU MP and Union Minister Lalan Singh stated that the results of the Haryana elections have proven that PM Modi remains popular across the country, and his popularity is on the rise.
Recently, the Election Commission team reviewed the preparations for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Following this, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar stated that the Maharashtra Assembly elections will be conducted by November 26.
Similarly, assembly elections in Jharkhand are also expected to take place by the end of this year.
