
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reached India on his two-day visit today i.e. Thursday. His plane landed at Ahmedabad airport at 8.30 am on Thursday. Gujarat CM Bhupendrabhai Patel has welcomed Boris Johnson at the airport. Currently, he is staying at Hotel Hyatt. This visit of Boris Johnson is considered very important amid the Russo-Ukraine war.
During his visit to India, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will inaugurate the bulldozer plant. Johnson will inaugurate a bulldozer manufacturing unit at Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat. Before this, Johnson will also meet industrialist Gautam Adani.
This unit belongs to British-origin company JCB, which manufactures other construction equipment including bulldozers. At the same time, this will be JCB's sixth plant in India.
At the same time, on Friday, Boris Johnson will attend the reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. He will also pay floral tributes to Bapu at Raj Ghat, the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi. There will be a meeting between PM Modi and Johnson on Friday.
During this, there will be talks between the two leaders on many issues in which issues related to free trade agreement, security of the Indo-Pacific region and terrorism will be mainly involved. Apart from this, UK PM Boris Johnson will also meet with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar.
Significantly, the British PM's visit to India is taking place at a time when there is a tussle between Ukraine and Russia. Europe and America have imposed many sanctions on Russia. However, India has made its stand clear from the beginning regarding Russia.
India has clearly said that Russia is an old friend of India. Both countries depend on each other for many needs. In such a situation, India will not put its friendship at stake.
