‘Perseverance’ is the largest rover ever sent by NASA. This is the ninth Mars mission of the US Space Agency since the 1970s. Landing the rover on the surface of a planet is the riskiest task in space science because in the past such efforts have been successful only in half of these efforts.
The US space agency ‘NASA’ has created history by landing a Perception Rover on Mars. The Perceived Rover has successfully landed on Mars today, seven months after taking off from Earth. NASA has achieved this great success under the leadership of Indian-American scientist Dr. Swati Mohan. This vehicle will explore life possibilities on Mars.
NASA engineer Dr. Swati Mohan said, ‘Touchdown on Mars has been confirmed! Now it is ready to start looking for signs of life. Swati Mohan was coordinating with the GN&C subsystem and the entire project team in the control room while the whole world was watching this historic landing. According to Indian time, at about 2.25 am on Friday, NASA’s rover landed on Mars.

Was there ever life on Mars or not?
This six-wheeled device will gather information on Mars and will bring such rocks, which can answer these questions, whether there was ever life on the red planet. Scientists believe that if there had ever been life on Mars, it would have been three to four billion years ago when water flowed on the planet. Scientists hope that the rover can get an answer to the main question related to philosophy, theology, and space science. Scientist of this project Ken Williford said, ‘Are we alone in this vast cosmic desert or is there life somewhere else? Does life ever, anywhere give favorable circumstances? ‘
