Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Babatpur Airport in Varanasi. From here you will reach the city by helicopter. This is the first visit of the Prime Minister to Varanasi this year, while reaching here for the 27th time after becoming the Prime Minister. The PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a total of 1475.20 crore schemes, including the Rudraksh Convention Center, a symbol of friendship between Japan and India.

PM will stay in Varanasi for about 5 hours. They will land at the helipad at BHU's IIT grounds at 11 am. Here the Governor and the CM will receive him.

Modi had come to Kashi 8 months ago on Dev Diwali. On Wednesday, the Prime Minister had tweeted on social media regarding the Kashi visit. In this, photos of new gifts like Rudraksh Convention Center, Mother-Child Health Wing were shared. During this visit, the Prime Minister will deliver a speech of about 70 minutes at three places.

Japan gave 186 crores help for Rudraksh Convention Center

Japan had given financial assistance of Rs 186 crore for the Rudraksh Convention Center. In 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the then Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe laid its foundation during their visit to Varanasi. This center is made in the shape of Shivling and also there are 108 symbolic Rudrakshas, ​​which are made of aluminum, outside this center built on three acres.

Operation of Ro-Ro Vessels from Banaras to Chunar from 22 crores

Ro-Ro (Roll on Roll of Passenger Shift) Vessels service will be started to give a boost to the tourism industry. Preparations are on to take Ro-Ro service up to Prayagraj. For now, there will be two rows. One of them's name is Swami Vivekananda and the other's name is Sam Maneck Shaw. One Ro-Ro will go from Khirkiya Ghat to Ramnagar and the other will go from Khirkiya Ghat to Chunar.

10 thousand soldiers ready in the leadership of 21 IPS

There will be a team of NSG and ATS commandos and officers of central intelligence agencies under the security cover of Prime Minister Modi, who is under the protection of SPG. Apart from this, the Central Paramilitary Force personnel will be the first in the outer security circle. After this, more than 10 thousand police-PAC personnel will be deployed under the leadership of 21 IPS.  On the route of the Prime Minister rooftop force has been deployed. All the venues of the Prime Minister will be no flying zones. Along with this, a contingent of the Army and Air Force will remain in alert mode at their helipad and Babatpur airport.

Boat tour in Ganga 8 months ago

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier visited Varanasi on November 30. During this, apart from inaugurating the Six Lane Project, he took a boat tour in the Ganges. Modi witnessed the grandeur of Dev Deepawali and the light and sound show at Sarnath. After this, the Prime Minister continued to interact with the residents of Kashi online, but could not come to Varanasi himself.
