NADA to Organize Online Anti-Dopping Classes

The World Anti-Doping Agency has expressed concern about increasing doping in sports activities. The National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) has also decided to call the Olympic players, coaches and support staff at their office to sensitize them against anti-doping activities to curb doping activities. NADA has asked sports associations to send their program as soon as possible. However, sports unions do not like this move of NADA. Sports associations say that the situation is not clear yet about the opening of the lockdown. Above all, the players will have to go to Delhi at their own expense and will have to make their own living arrangements.

For each sports association's NADA will take a separate three-hour session. Based on this session, NADA will ask sports unions to take action against doping in the year 2020-21. 40 players, coaches and support staff have been asked to join in a session. NADA has invited sports associations like athletics, kabaddi, shooting, wrestling, boxing, weightlifting, judo. Sports associations say NADA's move is fine, but players from far-flung cities will not be able to come to the Nada office and stay at their own expense. Yes, players who are in Delhi can be sent to it.

During this period, NADA has advised 110 players to join its registered testing pool (RTP) anti-doping class online. NADA has told these players that there is an anti-doping e-learning app on WADA's website. The anti-doping quiz is also provided in it, in which the certificate is also available.
