Muslim Side Admitted that Hindus Used to Worship There: Ayodhya case

The Muslim side, claiming ownership of the mosque at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, on Wednesday accepted in the Supreme Court that Hindus worshiped there. On behalf of the Muslim side, Rajiv Dhawan said that he does not oppose Nirmohi Akhada's right to service worship, he accepts claim to be a serviceman.

As soon as Dhawan argued this, the judges of the bench put a series of questions on Dhawan. The court said that if you are accepting the claim of service worship of Nirmohi, then it means that you are assuming that there was a temple with a mosque there.

At the beginning of the hearing, when Dhawan was surrounded a little after the claim of Nirmohi Arena, he said that Nirmohi Arena used to worship on the platform outside. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi told Dhawan that you are considering the arena as a right of service and saying that the worship was done in the outer yard and there was a statue.

Justice SA Bobde said that the akhara was a temple steward. Dhawan said that there was an idol on the Ram Chabutara in the outer courtyard, which was worshiped by the arena and that idol was kept inside on the night of 22-23 December 1949. But the bench continued to question the Muslims' acceptance of Nirmohi Akhara's right to serve.

Justice DY Chandrachud said that you have asked for two cases in your case, one should be declared a mosque and the other given map ABCD should be given the ownership of the whole area. If you accept the rights, then you are giving them a part of there. Your claim is not left alone all over the place.
