After exclusion of former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the news of his retirement once again has become topic of discussion.
MS Dhoni not Included in BCCI’s Annual Central Contract List

On Thursday, The BCCI released the annual central contract list of Indian players. Former Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was leftout from the list released from October 2019 to September 2020. After exclusion of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the news of his retirement once again has become topic of discussion. Dhoni received an 'A grade' contract last year. Mahi, who made his international debut against Bangladesh on 23 December 2004, played his last one-day match in World Cup semi-final against New Zealand. Dhoni, who led India to the 2011 World Cup victory under his captaincy, has played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20 Internationals in his career.

Annual Contract Lists of Players:

Grade A + (seven crore): Captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah. (October 2019 to September 2020)

Grade A (Five Crores): Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav and Rishabh Pant are also in this list. (October 2019 to September 2020)

Grade B (three crore): Wridhimann Saha, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Hardik Pandya and Mayank Agarwal. (October 2019 to September 2020)

Grade C: Kedar Jadhav, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Manish Pandey, Hanuma Vihari, Shardul Thakur, Shreyas Iyer, Washington Sundar (October 2019 to September 2020)
