Before the by-elections in more than two dozen seats in Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj government has given a big deal to the farmers. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced that now farmers will be given help of Rs. 10 thousand every year. Under the Chief Minister’s welfare scheme, farmers will get Rs 4 thousand in two installments. While under the PM welfare scheme 6 thousand rupees will be received.
Significantly, 27 seats of the assembly are vacant in MP. BJP will have to win at least nine seats to keep the throne. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath had recently said that the upcoming by-elections in Madhya Pradesh are neither general elections nor only by-elections. It is an ‘election to decide the future of the state’. This is the reason why everyone is saving their future.
To ensure victory in the by-elections, the Shivraj government has given a gift to the farmers. Now they will get 10 thousand rupees. Earlier, the Shivraj government waived the debt of farmers. However, many farmers had their one rupee, five rupees waived. Due to which the opposition was very tight.
Shivraj’s statement as Temporary Chief Minister is in discussions
Meanwhile, the statement of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan calling himself as the temporary Chief Minister is a matter of discussion in the political corridors. Actually, Chief Minister Chauhan was in Sitamau of Suwasra assembly constituency of Mandsaur district on Sunday. He dedicated the development works here. The by-election is going to be held in Suwasra seat.
From here the likely candidate of BJP will be Hardeep Singh Dung. Who has recently left Congress and joined BJP. Dung is also a minister in the Shivraj government. On this occasion, Shivraj had said, ‘I am the temporary chief Minister now, if I do not win the by-election, then I will remain the temporary Chief Minister. After the victory here, I will become the permanent Chief Minister.’
