Coronavirus infection is spreading rapidly in the country, but the good thing is that the number of people recovering from coronavirus are also increasing rapidly. So far, more than 4 lakh people across the country have completely recovered after defeating the coronavirus. According to the Union Health Ministry, during the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Saturday to 8 am Sunday, 14856 people across the country have been cured of the coronavirus and so far a total of 4,09,082 people have been cured across the country.
So far, 6,73,165 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country with a record of 24,850 new cases reported in the country during the last 24 hours. But out of total 673165 corona virus cases across the country, 409082 people have been cured i.e. the recovery rate of coronavirus in the country has reached close to 61 percent.
However, the number of people who are losing their lives in the country due to Corona virus is also increasing continuously. During the last 24 hours, 613 people have died due to coronavirus in the country and a total of 19,268 people have lost their lives due to this virus. The highest number of deaths in the country due to coronavirus has been reported in Maharashtra, Delhi and Gujarat. In Maharashtra, the virus has caused 8671 deaths while in Delhi it has claimed 3004 lives and 1925 in Gujarat.
There is continuous testing in the country for the identification of coronavirus patients. On Saturday, more than 2.48 lakh tests have been conducted across the country. The total coronavirus testing in the country has increased to 97.89 lakhs. After the United States, Russia, and Britain, the highest number of coronavirus tests are being conducted in India.
Speaking of coronavirus cases globally, the total number of cases worldwide has crossed 11 million mark and so far, more than 5.33 lakh people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. However, more than 64.40 lakh coronaviruses have been cured all over the world. The highest number of cases of coronavirus in the world are in the United States, where more than 29.35 lakh cases have been reported and more than 1.32 lakh people have died so far, followed by Brazil with more than 15.78 lakh cases and 64 thousand deaths. In Russia too, 6.74 lakh cases have been reported so far.
