The total number of infected in the country has increased to 1,48,919 after 4,443 new cases of coronavirus infected were reported in Pakistan, while 111 more people have died of Covid-19 bringing the total figure to 2,839 as the information given by health ministry on Tuesday. According to the Ministry of National Health Service, 25,015 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
PUNJAB REPORTED 55,878 CASES
There have been a total of 9, 22,665 tests for Covid-19 in the country so far and out of the total 1,48,919 cases of infected, Punjab has 55,878 cases, 55,581 in Sindh, 18,472 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 8,857 in Islamabad, 8,327 in Balochistan, 1,143 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 663 in Pak-occupied Kashmir.
56,390 CURED SO FAR
The ministry said 111 more people died in the last 24 hours and with this, the death toll from the deadly virus has increased to 2,839, while 56,390 others have become completely healthy. According to America's Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, the virus has infected more than 88, 00,000 people worldwide and killed more than 4, 35,000 people.
