In the name of jobs abroad, more than Rs 70-80 lakh from 250 youths from Punjab and Haryana have been cheated. The victims alleged that through Facebook Fateh immigration consultant company used to tell them for giving jobs abroad and cheating millions of rupees. When they arrived to take their visa in the company but the company's gate was got locked.
They have demanded action by giving complaints to the police. This is not the first case of fraud by an immigration company in Girakpur. In the last six months, about 20 immigration companies have run away hundreds of crores of rupees from hundreds of youth. The victim complains to the police, but the action is not taken.
The result is that the Girakpur turned in to the 'industry' of 'business' of sending foreign to. There are only two immigration companies in Girakpur, who have licenses, while about 78 companies are fake, which is running the immigration company in the name of the Ilets.
Case Number One: Ludhiana resident Chandrapal Singh said that after watching the ad on Facebook, he came in contact with the Fateh Immigration Consultant Company. For a job as a driver in Bahrain, he gave 26 thousand rupees to the company for the visa. The company had demanded 40 thousand rupees. 5 times I've made a trip for a visa. But the company's gate is locked. The complaint to the case has given to the police.
Case Number Two: Jalandhar Resident Resham Lal told that on January 17, the Fateh Immigration Consultant Company had taken my interview to set up a visa for the electrician in Kuwait. On January 25, the company called for medical and took Rs 4800 in the name of medical. Then on March 8, in the name of the visa application, Rs 20 thousand was taken by the company's and asked to pass the PCC of passport from the police station. Ten days later, after getting the PCC gave it to the company and ten days later the company called for a visa. It is now 2 May but the visa was not found. Reached on May 2 in Girakpur, it came to know that the company ran away with cheated about 250 people like me.
ASI Vikram Singh said that the complaint of about two dozen people came who have been cheated by Fateh Immigration Consultant Company. The police went to the showroom of the company for investigation, but the police did not get anything there. The company had taken showroom rent, the police are
investigating the given rent agreement of that company.
To stand on their feet, young people want to go abroad for a job, its direct benefit gets by fake immigration companies.
