In Gujarat, there has been an incident of molestation with girls in PG. Gujarat Women Commission has taken cognizance of the incident and ordered the inquiry. The Commission has also summoned the report from the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner. The police have filed a complaint and started investigating.
According to the information, the incident is of a PG operated on CG road of Navrangpura in a posh area of Ahmedabad city. At night a young man got into PG After midnight, the youth started molesting with the girl who was sleeping in the hall. The whole incident was captured on CCTV.
The incident is of June 14. The girl did not complain to the police for fear of defamation, but after the CCTV footage of the incident had surfaced, the Gujarat Women's Commission has ordered an inquiry. Inspector PB Desai said in this regard that the victim has now been ready to disperse the police. He said that the matter is under investigation. The accused will be arrested soon.
PG operator Sunny Singh said that a guard was deployed for security. But on the day of the incident, he was on leave. He said that two security guards have been deployed after the incident on 14th. The PG operator said that he is serious about the safety of the girls staying in PG.
