The Jaipur Police got the custody of gym owner, who murdered a Delhi girl and dumped her body in Haryana. There were many shocking revelations during his interrogation. Investigation revealed that they both met for the first time in Delhi on 6 December and the same day gym owner killed the girl. The two met via Facebook a month before the incident. He booked the cab from the girl's phone and also killed her on 7 December for fear of being caught. Police recovered the clothes from which the accused wiped blood from the car of driver Devendra Singh.
Gym Owner Hemant Lamba, 35, was handed over to the Haryana Police after he was arrested on December 10 from Surat. On Thursday, Jaipur police got his custody. Chandrawaji's SHO Vikrant Sharma, who is investigating the case, 'During interrogation Lamba stated that he was badly drunk on the day he killed the girl.
The girl did not turn out to be the way she had expected after the friendship on Facebook and she also suspected that she was sent by another woman who had filed a rape case against him in 2016 in Gurgaon. He was also arrested in this case.
After killing 22-year-old Deepti Goyal, Hemant booked a cab from Delhi's Jaipur to Jaipur on the woman's mobile. After reaching Jaipur, he also killed the cab driver. When he was trying to sell the cab in Surat, the car dealer informed the local police about the suspicion, after which he was arrested.
Tried to clean the blood in the cab
The SHO said that the clothes with which Hemant tried to clean the blood in the cab after killing the cab driver have also been recovered. The accused was produced in court this week and the Jaipur police demanded his custody.
