“Mere Pyare Prime Minister” Movie Review: The Big Message in the Short Film

Bollywood is focusing on Social Issues these days and the open defecation is a topic that Bollywood is looking very active. Akshay Kumar has already made a film like "Toilet: A Prem Katha" on this subject, whereas a film by the name 'Lalka' has also been made about this subject.

In this way, 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister,' points out a serious problem that is born with open defecation in which the issue of women's safety has been taken prominently. Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who has made such great films as "Rang De Basanti" and "Bhag Milkha Bhag", has raised this topic this time. The film tells its story very effectively.

The story of 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' is from Sargam and Kannu, who live in Mumbai's slum. Kannu is happy with her mother Saragam in her life and enjoys life in the fun. Due to the lack of toilet in the slum, the people here have to go for open defecation. Especially troubled are for women who have to go early morning.

One day Kannu's mother gets an accident and after that Kannu decides that she will make toilet for her mother. Then the game of relying on democracy and reaching the Prime Minister begins. The story of the film runs on a gallop and shows a child with an incredible love for his mother, and also shows that the characters of the film know life in every situation.

In 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister', Anjali Patil has played the role of Kannu's mother. Om Kanauji also did a good job in Kannu's roll. Kannu's friend Nirala and Ringtones are also fun and touch the heart. While the children carry the film forward, the film's senior cast also works to keep it. The music of the movie is also fine and overall, it is a small film with a big message, which also entertains with the message.
