Masala Poha, eaten mostly as breakfast, is a complete meal in itself. This Maharashtrian dish is made differently in different parts of the country. You can also add vegetables according to your wish.

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 pinch salt
2 teaspoons turmeric
8 curry leaves
2 grams chopped green chilies
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon refined oil
2 tablespoons mustard
For garnishing:
coriander leaves
1 teaspoon Pomegranate seeds
For main dish:
1 thinly sliced potato
1 handful of raw peanuts

How to make Masala Poha:
Step 1:
Wash the poha thoroughly and drain all the water and keep it for 15 minutes.
Step 2:
Heat the oil on medium flame and add mustard seeds to it. When it starts crackling, add curry leaves, peanuts and green chilies.
Step 3:
Take care not to burn peanuts. When the peanuts are fried, add chopped potatoes to it. Let the potatoes cook well.
Step 4:
Now add poha to the pan. Mix everything well and add turmeric.
Step 5:
When mixed, add sugar, salt and lemon juice.
Step 6:
Now, Masala Poha is ready. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
