Maruti Suzuki has launched 'Sports Edition' of its popular Vitara Brezza Compact SUV in the Indian market. New Maruti Vitara Brezza Sport Edition has been priced at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Maruti Vitara Breja was first launched in 2016, since then this car is one of the most successful cars in the compact SUV segment in the Indian market. The company has sold this car without any changes since its launch. However, now due to the growing competition in this segment, and especially after the launch of the Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki has launched the premium edition of Vitara Brezza.
If we talk about the change in the new sports edition, Maruti Suzuki has done only cosmetic updates in the new Vitara Brezza. This includes the accessories package, which can be customized according to the variant and the customer. Accessories include package body graphics, side body cladding, door steel-guard, wheel arc kit, new seat covers, and leather steering covers.
In addition to these extra cosmetic updates, Vitara Brezza Sport Edition is completely the same as before. Speaking of Mechanical Specifications, Maruti Vitara Breje Sports Edition will get the 1.3-liter diesel option as before. It produces power of 89bhp and 200Nm torque and will have 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox option for transmission.
According to the information, Maruti is currently working on a new Vita Braja for the Indian market. New Braja Facelift can be launched at any time after the implementation of BS-VI emission norms in India by April 2020. A new compact SUV will also be given a BS-VI compliant engine. Along with this, Maruti Suzuki will also introduce the latest BS-VI compliant 1.2-liter K12 petrol engine in Vita Braja.
